new mobile virus is on the way. And we found Symbian Series 60 to become the victim again. The virus named “Trojan-SMS.SymbOS.Viver” is actually an SMS Trojan. The virus is received mostly because of exposing cell phone to download games continuously from unsafe locations. The virus once onto your symbian handset, it will start sending SMS to particular numbers. The SMS cost range between $1 and $10. So one is pretty much on the verge of loosing its prepaid carrier balance. For now, the SMS Trojan virus is confined to Russia only. Hope it will not spread rapidly.
